I am a seasoned Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience in various hospital units, including Med/Surg, Tele, ICU, and DOU. Currently, I am dedicated to the PreOp/Recovery department. I served as the Co-leader for the Unit-Based Team for 2.5 years, where I led projects aimed at enhancing patient care and nurse satisfaction.Growing up in a Hindu culture rich with traditions and a deep respect for holistic well-being, I developed a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in healthcare. This cultural background has greatly influenced my approach to nursing.My passion for holistic healthcare and my cultural roots led me to introduce Aromatherapy to our unit, which has since expanded to benefit patients in the pain clinic and Labor & Delivery.In addition to my extensive allopathic nursing experience, I hold a recent Ayurveda Counseling Certification, and I am currently enrolled in a Holistic Nurse Coaching/Counseling Certification program and an Ayurvedic Practitioner Program. My goal is to blend my allopathic knowledge with Ayurveda to empower clients in becoming advocates for their health and wellness.
