About our Experts

When booking your Ayurvedic consultation, it’s important to select the right level of expertise to meet your needs. We provide 3 levels of Ayurvedic Experts you can select from.

  • Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) with 1-5 years of experience is well-suited for foundational guidance and support.
  • Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) with 5-10 years, is recommended for more advanced health concerns and personalized strategies, offering deeper insights and tailored care.
  • Ayurvedic Doctor (AD), with 10-20 years of experience – this is for the most complex and specialized health issues and provides the highest level of expertise and comprehensive treatment plans.

Dawn Gibson

Ayurvedic Practitioner

Dawn hails from Saskatchewan, immersed in nature. She’s an Ayurvedic Practitioner, certified 200-Hour yoga teacher, studying under Dr. Vasant Lad. Dawn delves into Ayurvedic Doctor program. Her background spans Western herbal medicine and photojournalism. Dawn contributes articles to The Northwest School of Aromatic Medicine. She’s worked with at-risk youth, emphasizing presence and compassion in medicine. Dawn’s hobbies include travel, yoga, cooking, and outdoor exploration, driven by her passion for learning and creativity.

Kathleen Carr

Ayurvedic Health Counselor

Kathleen, a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor based in Southern California, has over 20 years of yoga and meditation practice and 2+ years of Ayurvedic study, and she aims to empower others in holistic health. Kathleen has traveled to India, studying at a university and an Ayurveda hospital, witnessing its efficacy in treating severe diseases like diabetes and cancer. As a mother and business owner, she offers compassionate care, emphasizing Ayurveda’s preventive approach tailored to individual needs. Kathleen is currently pursuing certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Manas Kshirsagar

Ayurvedic Doctor

Manas Kshirsagar, a NAMA Board Certified Ayurvedic Doctor, traces his roots to a Rig Vedic Brahmin lineage, steeped in Ayurvedic heritage. He graduated from Aloha Ayurveda Academy and earned an MS in Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine from Maharishi University of Management. Renowned as a wellness consultant, Dr. Manas served at MAPI and the esteemed Raj Panchakarma center in Fairfield, IA. With extensive training in healing modalities including Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki, he embodies a holistic approach to well-being.

Marisa Ditimus

Ayurvedic Health Counselor

A graduate of Dr. Vasant Lad’s Ayurvedic Institute, Marisa has counseled people from all walks of life in areas including depression, insomnia, grief, addiction, weight loss, and menopause. She delivers results by focusing on the fundamentals of wellness: from nutrition and lifestyle, to movement, meditation, and breathwork. Marisa is currently pursuing a certification in Ayurvedic Sacred Bodywork, and is committed to enhancing the life of every client she serves.

Rina Kansagra

Ayurvedic Doctor

Rina, a Doctor of Ayurveda, 500-hr Ayuryoga Instructor, and LMT, trained under Dr. Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute for four years, is focusing heavily on clinical practice. Her doctorate thesis explored Estrogen and Progesterone from an Ayurvedic perspective. Previously in corporate finance, health challenges led her to Ayurveda. Seeing firsthand the direct impact of Ayurvedic therapies on clients’ physical and emotional health, combined with the transformative experience of having incorporated Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle practices into her own life, she found balance and purpose in sharing Ayurvedic wisdom.

Sarah Kruse

Ayurvedic Doctor

Sarah Kruse is an Ayurvedic Practitioner who has been committed to serving her clients, the community and world with Ayurveda for over 24 years. She specializes in helping people improve their digestion, metabolism, sleep, hormones, skin health and energy levels. She has been fortunate to study with Dr. Vasant Lad and other Ayurvedic doctors in India. She lives in Cannon Beach, Oregon with her family and Australian Shepherd puppy, where they love to hike the beaches and coastal forests. Sarah’s daily practice is to keep the joyful balance between her work, daughter and personal fulfillment. She believes that when we heal ourselves, the whole of humanity thrives.

Tanmayi Toglia

Ayurvedic Practitioner

Tanmayi, an Ayurvedic Practitioner, 200hr Ayuryoga RYT, and Ayurvedic Institute graduate, is dedicated to offering accessible Ayurvedic wisdom tailored to her clients’ needs. Her health journey began in her youth, driven by a curiosity about her struggles with digestion and emotions. Exploring various healing methods, she found Ayurveda to provide a holistic roadmap. Currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ayurveda program with Dr. Lad, Tanmayi also enjoys creating nourishing meals and catering for large retreats. Inspired by nature and dance, she finds joy in the ocean and forests.
